H.B. “Ben” Hardy, age 88, born June 4, 1913 passed away peacefully May 4, 2002. Family includes, beloved wife, the late Jane Ingersoll Hardy; beloved companion Theo Fitzmorris; brother Frank (Madelyn), sister the late Lucille; daughters, Sue (John) Macon, Pat (Dan) Stiles; and sons James K. Hardy, the late John (Barbara) Coffin and the late Rick Coffin; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many special nieces and nephews; and caregivers Sherry (Doug) Fitzmorris. Memorial service to be held on Tuesday May 21, 2002 at 11 a.m. at Winnetka Congregational Church, 725 Pine St. Winnetka. Interment Private.
