MaryEllen Greske, of Palatine, formerly of Des Plaines and Chicago, devoted mother of Jennifer (Bob) Koeppen Jr. and Matthew Greske; dear grandmother of John and Grace Koeppen; loving companion of the late Ronald DelVecchio. After a courageous 7 1/2 year battle with ovarian cancer, she passed away peacefully on the morning of May 11. Funeral mass at 11 a.m. on May 15, at St. Thomas of Villanova Parish, Williams St. and Anderson in Palatine (847-358-6999).
