Arthur Randall Corwin, died on May 10, 2002 after a long illness. He was born July 7, 1914 in Jamestown, NY. He graduated from Miami University of Ohio, and served in European campaigns as a tank commander in Company B 757 during World War II. Art worked for Holsman Holsman and Kelkemp, Architects, Chicago, and was an instructor of watercolor at Chicago Technical College. For 26 years, Art was an architect in the Building Construction Department of Portland Cement Association. He is survived by his wife, Helen L. Corwin; his sister, Jane Corwin; his daughters, Margaret Corwin, Mary Caruana and Martha Bowden; and two grandchildren, Jennifer Baker and Jonathan Caruana. Memorial services will be held Saturday, May 18, at 10:30 a.m. at the First Presbyterian Church of Arlington Heights, 320 N. Dunton Ave., Arlington Heights, IL (847-255-5900). Interment is private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the organization to benefit the homeless, “Journeys from PADS to Hope,” 1140 E. Northwest Hwy., Palatine, IL 60074.
