Trustees this week approved Normadale Woods, a subdivision of 27 lots on the east side of Illinois Highway 53, south of Oldwoods Drive. The 17.5 wooded acres are zoned for single family homes, which will be developed by DePaulo Builders. The custom homes are expected to cost $500,000 or more, according to village staff, and will feature full basements and 2.5 car garages.
Mayor William Murphy said the development will add options to the village’s existing housing market.
