Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I cannot believe it has come to this. The Cubs are hopelessly trapped in the legacy of losing.

It is time to destroy Wrigley Field and build a brand new ballpark for the Cubs to play in.

By destroying the shrine to losing, maybe we could finally get a team that could shake the loser image. At the start of the season, I was encouraged–Moises Alou, Sammy Sosa, Fred McGriff and a decent pitching staff, a great core on which to build a winning team.

Well into May, all we have left is a dim glimmer of hope.

This Cubs team is a remarkable disappointment. The players look like they don’t have an ounce of passion. Please, for the love of the game, make my pain go away. All I want is a winner.
