I fully concur with “Wrigley fans” (Voice of the people, May 8). There’s no question it’s the ballpark, not the team, that draws fans to Wrigley Field. If it was due to the caliber of the teams turned out there, the place would have been shuttered long ago.

Here’s another alternative–let’s have all the Cubs and Sox games played in one park one year and in the other park the next year. I’m willing to wager after two seasons, they’ll be able to justify the closing of Comiskey.
