William Joseph Hutmacher Sr., a 38-year retired Chicago Fire Department Captain, passed away May 19, leaving his most beloved wife, Diana Katherine, nee Marienfeld. Surviving him, his loving children, Patricia Lindahl, Marilyn Brooks and William Jr. (Cathie); as well as his most cherished grandchildren, Carla, Micah, Rebecca, Diana and Katherine Clare. The devoted son of the late Clara, nee Heckenkamp, and Joseph Hutmacher Sr.; loving brother to Lucille Christianson and Joseph Jr. (Mary), the late Mary “Sweetie” Johnson, Bette Doucet, Madeline Clausen and Robert, his twin. He also leaves many dear nieces and nephews; family and friends. He is now at rest with his longtime buddy, “Rocky”. Funeral Thursday, 10:30 a.m. from Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home, 6150 N. Cicero Ave., to St. Viator Parish, 4170 W. Addison, for Mass at 11 a.m. Interment Acacia Park Cemetery.
