Louella P. Nance, of Ann Arbor, MI, formerly of Wilmette, IL, age 104, passed away Friday, May 17, 2002. She was born Feb. 23, 1898 in Fort Wayne, IN, a daughter of William and Pauline, nee Meyer, Paul. In 1923, she married Willis D. Nance and he preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. Nance had been a very active member of St. James Evangelical Lutheran Church in Evanston, IL. She is survived by one daughter, Betsy (Jack) Mall of Ann Arbor; one grandson, Chuck (Faranak) Drake and two granddaughters, Beth (Mike) Anthony and Jackie (David Damouth) Mall; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 23, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. in the Lloyd Douglas Chapel of the First Congregational Church with the Rev. Robert Livingston officiating. The family will receive friends at the church. A graveside service will be held at Memorial Park Cemetery in Skokie, IL on Tuesday, May 28, 2002 at 11:30 a.m. Memorial contributions are suggested to Glacier Hills Nursing Center, 1200 Earhart Rd., Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
