Joy C. Pople, born April 19, 1924 in Cambridge, England, passed away on May 21, 2002. She moved to Sarasota, FL from Wilmette, IL three years ago. She was a retired music teacher and was a graduate of Guild Hall School of Music in London, England. She was a member of First United Methodist Church in Sarasota and First United Methodist Church in Evanston, IL and Daughters of the British Empire. She was a loving wife to John; mother to Hilary, Adrian, Mark and Andrew; and a grandmother to 11; and great-grandmother to one. She will be greatly missed by those that were dear to her. A Memorial Service will be held Friday at 11 a.m. at First United Methodist Church, Evanston, IL. If so desired, memorial donations may be made to First United Methodist Church, 1630 Hinman Ave., Evanston, IL 60201. Toale Brothers Funeral Home, Colonial Chapel, is in charge of arrangements.
