Edna Snyder, nee Reach, formerly of Chicago, died peacefully at age 91 in her Evanston home. Mrs. Snyder and her late husband, Carl Winfred Snyder, were the originators of Scintilla Satin Sheets, a Chicago based mail order company. Mrs. Snyder came from New York and worked for Conde-Nast Corp. and the Chicago Tribune. She is survived by her daughter Carla (Jay) Belniak; grandson Mac Gregor Snyder and granddaughter Megan Snyder. Services will be private and Remembrance pending. Contributions to the Palliative Care Center of the North Shore, 2821 Central St., Evanston, IL 60201 would be appreciated.
