James Dwayne Spann, age 46, of Chicago, passed away Sunday, May 19, 2002. He was an avid bicycle rider, a successful entrepreneur, and a free spirit. He is survived by his father, James Spann; one brother, Bruce D. Spann and sisters Jamice A. (Earl) Brazan and Deborah L. Summers; son James “D.J.” Spann and daughter Ashley Lynn Spann; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews; and a host of caring friends. He was preceded into immortality by his mother, Alyce L. Spann. Services were held Friday, May 24, 2002.
