I am from India, where people treat the flag with the same respect as one would give to one’s parents and teachers. I noticed that some products bear the U.S. flag, even slippers and shoes.
I feel there should be a ruling issued by the government that the country’s flag should not be depicted on products that would serve as a mark of disrespect to the flag. I am sure we do not want the world to keep our country under its feet.
