Ronyale “Cherie” White’s three calls to 911 for someone to save her went for naught. She is dead, and her three children are motherless.
Consider the hundreds who’ve died, unable to save themselves, because of Mayor Richard Daley and the Chicago City Council. Those people parade in countless marches against murder, ask why citizens allow such criminality to occur and then go to their well-protected ivory towers and cast votes to make certain that all Chicagoans will stand defensively naked before all who come to slay them.
White is in her grave. White did not need a protection order, or the best wishes of advocates or vote-hungry politicians. White needed a gun.
