J. Mark Whitmer, 46, of Wheaton, died due to complications from his lifelong battle with Rheumatoid Arthritis, beloved son of John and Donna Whitmer; brother of Sheri (Rick) Hummel, Pam (Art) Gibbons and Dan (Angie) Whitmer; dear uncle to 11 nieces and nephews, Tiffany, Ricki, Leighanne, Abe and Luke Hummel, Bethany, Emily, Joel and Kelsey Gibbons, D.J. and Sarah Whitmer; beloved nephew and cousin to many. He was a business manager with Whitmer Construction Company of Wheaton, long standing member of First Baptist of Wheaton and an avid Chicago pro sports fan.
