Carvell “Never Felt Better”, born May 17, 1922, devoted son of the late Evans Angelo Carvell a/k/a Korkoneas of Exohori, Mani, Greece and the late Frances, nee Demetreas, of Kardamile, Mani, Greece; beloved brother of Evangeline Carvell, Athena Carvell and Olympia (the late John) Mott; loving father of Jim; proud grandfather of Kristen, Michael and Nicholas; fond uncle of Evan (fiancee, Jamie Young) Psihogios; lifelong friend of Larry Alport and Andy Zigouris; loved by many friends, cousins and other numerous relatives. Visitation Sunday 3 to 9 p.m. at Blake-Lamb Funeral Home, 4727 W. 103rd St., Oak Lawn, with the Trisagion at 6:30 p.m. Visitation Monday 10 a.m. until time of Service 10:30 a.m. at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 10301 S. Lover of Greek culture and devotee of his Orthodox Christian faith. World War II Veteran, 103rd Infantry Division, 2nd Armored Division, Regiment Hell on Wheels was in Battle of the Bulge.
