I would like to extend my sincere congratulations to all 2002 graduates.
Those of you who are leaving kindergarten have made one of the biggest adjustments in your life. Leaving the warm security of your parents and home, you entered into a new world. First grade brings a full day of learning and adjusting.
Those of you who will be leaving your second home for the last eight years will be entering your first phase of adult life–high school. You have your basic skills behind you and now high school will afford you the opportunity to be the best you can be. Seize the opportunity! Respect yourself and others. Be responsible for your own actions. Treat others as you would like them to treat you.
Those of you who will be leaving high school will either continue your education in college or go on to work full-time. In either case, maintain a goal of perseverance. Hard work is a great self-esteem builder. The future of this world is in your hands. We believe in you!
