Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I have been a diehard White Sox fan for about 30 years. On Memorial Day I was excited about watching the Sox take on the Yankees, knowing they were going to have a crowd in excess of 40,000. What happened? Before a lot of those fans even got to their seats, the Sox were behind 6-0.

All season I have heard Jerry Manuel talk on the radio about the opposition having to “bring their `A’ game” when playing the Sox. This was not the first early flop in front of a big crowd, and since the Sox do not play in Wrigley Field, it is these games in which the Sox need to play their best to attract new and part-time fans.

Next time Ken Williams talks about fans not coming out to the ballpark, someone should remind him to talk to his team about not coming out with their `F’ game.
