If some believe that the U.S. mainstream media are pro-Palestinian, I wonder what they think of the international press (including European), which enjoys greater freedom to tell it like it is because it is not muzzled as much as the American press.
The intense pressure that our national organized Jewish groups exert upon the press in the United States, the kind that reporter Tim Jones so correctly describes, is not there.
Those of us who make an extra effort to know can learn of such atrocities done by Israel on a daily basis, which, if committed by any other country, would have received shrieking headlines in our press a long time ago.
Any other country would have been ostracized as a pariah state.
What Jones describes is a collective and a coordinated attempt to stifle all criticism of Israel in the U.S. to the degree that very soon, even the mildest rebuke will be equated to anti-Semitism.
