Robert Desco Case Jr., 53, of Chicago, died Saturday, May 18, 2002 at Grant Hospital. He was born Aug. 3, 1948 in Dayton, OH, the son of Robert and Patricia Case. He was preceded in death by his parents and a wife, Martha Case, nee Ward. Mr. Case was a research chemist in industry and worked most recently for Georgia Pacific. He was an avid computer enthusiast, an accomplished photographer and against his own best judgement, a longtime Cubs fan. He is survived by a son, Ryan Desco Case (mother, Mary) of Wheaton, IL; a brother, William Case (wife, Liza) of Vandalia, OH; and a stepmother, Lois Case of Brookville, OH. A Graveside Service will be held at Graceland Cemetery on Friday, June 7 at 4 p.m. In addition, a Memorial Service in Dayton, OH is planned.
