For almost 2,000 years, the Catholic Church has been the basis of faith and hope for most of the civilized world. All of us feel in some way betrayed or hurt by all of the sexual-abuse allegations.
Over the years, we as practicing Catholics have all confessed sins to our priests and have been forgiven our sins.
It is our turn. We, the faithful of the Catholic Church, must give back what the church gave us–forgiveness.
