Bengals running back Corey Dillon, an all-conference baseball player and all-state football player at Franklin High School in Seattle in 1993, took batting practice with the Reds on Tuesday.

He hit the outfield wall on the fly and the left-field foul pole during swings with the Reds’ bench players.

“I was nervous on my first couple of swings,” he said. “Then I relaxed and started making contact.”
