It is a sad situation that unemployed workers lose their health insurance and are unable to pay for the medical care for members of their families.

Children of such families, when they get a strep infection, sometimes cannot afford penicillin to protect them from development of rheumatic fever.

Meanwhile the government issues free condoms to children in schools and pays for Viagra for old goats who are on Medicaid or Medicare.
