Charles H. Benson, 101, died Thursday, June 6, 2002 at his residence in Lutz, FL. He was born in Chicago on Oct. 20, 1900. He came to Florida from Lake Geneva, WI. His previous home was in Oak Park, IL. He was a member of Church of the Isles, Largo, FL. He worked for The Imperial Eastman Corporation of Chicago and was Vice-President and member of the Board of Directors. Sales Manager of four of the divisions, Accounting, Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, Industrial Products and Tools. He was a Marine Veteran of World War I. Esther, his wife of 71 years, and his only child, Charlene, preceded him in death. Survivors include four grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at 10:30 a.m. at the Merrill Gardens of Lutz, 414 Chapman Road E., Lutz, FL 33549, 813-909- 9679.
