I was born and raised in Chicago. I’m a lifelong Cubs fan who just moved back to the Midwest, and I became a season ticket-holder. I blame both Don Baylor and Andy MacPhail for the terrible season.
The players were not physically or psychologically prepared for the season–that is Baylor’s fault. The players are not working as a team. They are simply a bunch of individuals wearing Cubs uniforms–that is MacPhail’s fault.
Fire both of them.
