Born March 21, 1921 in Oshkosh, WI. Member of the U.S. Coast Guard in WWII. Married Florence Ruth Leeds on Feb. 9, 1945 in Berkeley, CA. Was a registered C.P.A. practicing accounting with the firm of DeSwarte, Evans & Jackisch for many years. He later was V.P. and Treasurer of South Suburban Safeway Lines, Inc. of Harvey, IL. He was a lifelong bridge player, belonging to numerous clubs and organizations in the Chicago area. Military Services will take place in private at the Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery, Elwood, IL.
