I’m not so sure that John Ashcroft fully appreciates that there is a very thin line separating a democracy from tyranny. Perhaps we are just a few terrorist attacks away from that awful conservative Christian right-wing police state that Ashcroft seems so convinced is in the best interests of this nation.
The terror of tyranny is far worse than the terror of terrorists.
