Lois G. Wren, 72, of DeKalb, IL, passed away Saturday, June 8, 2002 in DeKalb. She was the daughter of the late Robert H. and Laura Houf. She married Fred W. Wren on August 26, 1950 in Bellwood, IL. Lois was a kindergarten teacher at St. Paul’s Ev. Lutheran Church School in Addison, IL and St. Luke’s Ev. Lutheran Church School in Itasca, IL. She was a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in DeKalb. She is survived by her husband Fred; three sons, Fred (Chris) Wren of Collinsville, IL, Richard (Debra) Wren of Warrenville, IL and Ken Wren of Zenda, WI; one daughter, Sandra (Rod) Duesterhoeft of Hutchinson, MN; ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild; one brother Robert (Marlene) Houf Jr. of Wisconsin; stepmother Nell Houf of Springfield, IL; and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at Immanuel Lutheran Church in DeKalb on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at 1:30 p.m. with the Rev. E. George Krause officiating. A memorial is being established for Lois G.
