Peter Dittrich, age 50, of Dyer, IN passed away June 11, 2002. Loving husband of the late Eileen Dittrich; loving father to Lauren Louise and Peter Nicholas; brother of Ingrid (the late Melvin) Clevenger and Helmuth (Jean) Dittrich; uncle to many nieces and nephews; and godfather of many. Friends may call at the Burns Funeral Home, 8415 Calumet Ave., Munster on Thursday from 3 to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will take place Friday, June 14 with 9:15 a.m. prayers at the funeral home and 10 a.m. Mass at St. Joseph Church in Dyer, IN. Burial will be at Chapel Lawn Cemetery in Schererville. Peter was the former owner of Dittrich Trucking and was the former owner of Double (D) Dog & Deli of Dyer, IN.
