Stephen H. Adams (Adamkiewicz), of Phoenix, formerly of Niles, born Feb. 15, 1916 in Chicago, died June 9, 2002 in Phoenix. He was the husband of the late Apolonia M., nee Juszkiewicz; dear father of Steve T., Philip (Gloria) and Arlene (Edward) Juracek; dear grandfather of Grant, Andrea and Robert Juracek; brother of the late Chester Adams and Jean Blasz; uncle to eight nieces and nephews. Visitation Friday 3 to 9 p.m. at the Skaja Terrace Funeral Home, 7812 N. Milwaukee Ave., Niles. Funeral services Saturday 9:15 a.m. to St. Juliana Church for 10 a.m. Mass. Interment Maryhill Cemetery. He was a poet, golfer, and showman at heart. He proudly served his country in Italy and North Africa as a Sergeant with the 5th Army Airborne.
