What egotistical arrogance Sen. Peter Fitzgerald projected when he pompously declared he would filibuster against the proposed O’Hare expansion plan even if “99 senators are in favor” of it.
I dare say this type of showboating is not only non-productive, but is also not what the voters of Illinois expect of their elected officials. Perhaps the junior senator should devote his time and energies to more constructive projects, quit whining like a spoiled child and stop beating a dead horse.
