Earl Eugene Fredrick Sr., 92 years of age, died on June 12 after a brief illness. He worked 43 years for the U.S. Postal Service and at the time of his retirement was Superintendent of Mailing Requirements. Mr. Fredrick served his God and family well. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn; two children, Eleanor and Dr. Earl (Barbara); two stepchildren, Sandy and Wanda Williams; five grandchildren; and 11 greatgrandchildren. Funeral arrangements are: Monday, June 17, 2002, visitation 5 p.m. to 6 p.m., wake 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., funeral services 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., to be held at Woodlawn A.M.E. Church, 65th and Evans Ave. Arrangements were entrusted to Carter Funeral Chapel, 773-684-2100 .
