Last good book you read: “Revelations: There’s Light After the Lime” [by] Mase the [former] rapper. He gave up his entire life–money, jewelry, cars–all his possessions . . . and it gave me a new respect for him. He has a ministry now. CDs you’re listening to: Nappy Roots, Nas, and Nelly Furtado. Lately I’ve been listening to jazz–Thelonious Monk, Boney James, the Yellowjackets. And anything by George Clinton in that whole funk era is my stuff.
Favorite gadget: PlayStation 2. That’s my therapy. Right now, I’m playing “Spider-Man.”
Favorite place to shop: A friend of mine has a store called Chocolate City, in Bellwood. It’s hip-hop clothing [and] it seems like they come out with the styles before everybody else does.
Favorite pigout food: Chicken of any kind–fried, boiled, blow-dried. I’ll eat it.
