George E. Quill, 80, 32 year resident of Glenview, June 18, 2002, beloved husband of Phyllis, nee Corbett; loving father of George Jr. (Deborah), Timothy (Jean), Michael (Maureen) and Brian (Sandra); proud grandfather of 11; dear brother of Walter Quill and Lois Anderson. George was an alum of Loyola University Chicago and a Veteran of WWII. He was an executive with Catholic Charities before becoming President of George Corbett Boiler and Tank Company and also Founder and President of George Quill and Sons Inc. He was a 60 year member of the Knights of Columbus and an Officer of Chief Engineers Association of Chicago. Visitation Friday 4 to 8 p.m. at N.H. Scott & Hebblethwaite Funeral Home, 1240 Waukegan Rd., Glenview (2 blks. south of Lake Avenue, on west side) and Saturday 9 a.m. until time of Funeral Mass 10 a.m. at St. Catherine Laboure Church, 3535 Thornwood, Glenview.
