Jack Batshaw, 88, of Raleigh, NC, died Wednesday, June 19, 2002 at Raleigh Community Hospital. He was born Feb. 10, 1914 in Montreal, Canada. He was married to the late Beatrice Batshaw. Surviving are daughter, Joy Yanoff and spouse, Jim Thompson, of Raleigh; grandchildren, Jason, Marla and John. Graveside service will be held Friday, June 21, 2002 at 3:30 p.m. in the Hebrew Cemetery in Raleigh. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Beth Mayer Synagogue.
