Albert “Buddy” Nadler, 85, died suddenly June 19, born in Chicago to Dr. Benjamin Nadler and Dr. Leah Nadler. Affectionately known as “Buddy”. Studied at the American Conservatory of Music, where he met his wife of 57 years, Bina, nee Saltz. World War II Veteran, served in the European Theatre, earned a Purple Heart. Respected violinist at both the Lyric Opera of Chicago and Grant Park for over 30 years. Music and literature were lifelong passions that he and Bina shared with their three children, Paul Nadler of Ft. Myers, FL, Sheldon Nadler of Calgary, Canada and Debra (Ami) Lamdan of Israel; beloved grandfather of Niv, Mika and Eitam Kohen and Lee Lamdan, all of Israel and Rona and Rachel Nadler of Calgary. Also survived by older sister, Deana Sparberg and extended family, Judy and Alan Scheffres, Linda and Fred Wittenberg and their children. Funeral services will be private, memorial service pending.
