Regarding your fascinating article on ZAKA, the group of religious Jews in Israel who collect body parts for burial after terrorist attacks, a most interesting part of the story was missing (“Orthodox Jews see grim jobs as mix of religious, civic duty,” News, June 7). The fact is that the funds sustaining this group are provided mostly by the International Fellowship of Christians and Jews based right here in Chicago. The donors to this and all our other projects are Christians seeking to demonstrate their support and solidarity for the traumatized people of Israel during this time of need.
