Julia Volkmann, nee Rogers, 96, died June 14, 2002, in Door County Memorial Hospital, Sturgeon Bay, WI, beloved wife of the late Bruno; loving mother of Richard (Susan Leahy); proud grandmother of Richard Jr. (Kristin Horlacher); dear sister of the late Ann (Stanley) Lowman and the late James (Virginia) Rogers; dear aunt of Patricia (Michael) D’Erico, John (Patricia Tuhy) Lowman, Carol (John) Slusser and Susan (Dennis) Martinek; great-aunt to seven. Julia was a resident of Chicago and Ephraim, (Door County), WI, where she was raised and spent every summer of her life. Services will be private. Memorials to The Ephraim Foundation, P.O.
