Bruce Koenig, 51, died suddenly Saturday morning in Durham, NC. Mr. Koenig is survived by his wife, Anne Marie Mulhern; one sister, Charlene Valentine of Chicago; niece and nephew, Tony and Kathryne Tutkus, both of Chicago. Mr. Koenig was born in Chicago, IL, the son of the late Charles Koenig and Marie Havel Koenig. He was a graduate of Florida State University and an avid runner. He was the director of the Half Marathon Training Program and the Running Start Program for the Carolina Godiva Track Club. A visitation will be held Friday evening from 7 to 9 at Howerton-Bryan Funeral Home in Durham. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Heart Association, P.O.
