I have been reading newspapers since I was able to read.
The column I first started reading as a child was Ann Landers. She has been my friend and my mentor, teaching me how to survive the loss of a loved one, how to have better relationships with my parents and how to deal with almost any social situation. It was her column that I turned to first every day.
I feel a profound loss and I will miss her greatly.
