June Ryoko Arizumi Hall, passed away June 19, 2002. Beloved mother of Janice (Todd) Phillips; and beloved sister of Violet Arizumi, Janet Arizumi, Sidney (Jean) Arizumi, Wallace (Caroline) Arizumi, and the late Ronald Arizumi, all of Hilo, Hawaii. She is also survived by aunts, cousins, and numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Pahala, Hawaii and educated in Hawaii, Iowa and Missouri. She taught many years in Iowa, Okinawa, Illinois and Alabama. She was a communications technician at Ameritech SBC in Chicago. A memorial gathering for her family and many friends will be held June 25, 2002, 5 to 7 p.m. at Grace Chapel, 315 W. Barry (at Lake Shore Drive) Chicago. For information call 773-342-1399
