William B. Johnson, age 80, passed away Friday, June 21, 2002. Retired from Board of Education after 30 years service as an engineer. WWII Navy Veteran (LST 582), member of American Legion Tattler Post #973. Enjoyed his retirement and was active in golfing, fishing, bowling. He was preceded by his wife of 55 years, Edith, nee Caulfield, and his brothers Howard (late Margaret), Arthur (Florence), Roy (Ann) and Byron. Survived by his daughters Peggy Johnson and Susan (Reinhold) Fischer; grandchildren Hannah, William and Merdith. He was devoted to his grandchildren and dear friend and uncle to his nephew Frank Johnson and nieces Myra Johnson and Joan Caulfield. He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Private memorial planned.
