Jackie Podd, nee Horner, age 69, of Des Moines, IA, formerly of Wheaton and Hinsdale, IL, died June 24, 2002 of cancer at her home, wife of George O. Podd Jr. of Des Moines; mother of George O. Podd III of Lake Forest, IL, Kenneth C. Podd of Greenville, SC and Katherine Brennan of Virginia Beach, VA; grandmother of six; sister of Samantha Waldweiler of Dallas TX and Stephanie Horner, New Mexico. She owned J.P. & Associates. Private memorial service will be held at later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Hospice of Central Iowa, 401 Railroad Place, West Des Moines, IA 50265 would be appreciated.
