I was saddened to hear of the passing of Ann Landers. I have only read a few of her columns and letters, but she seemed a special person with the gift of insight and true compassion. I had an aunt like that and she was very close to me. She led a long and good life and could not turn her back on anyone who sought her advice or guidance. I can see Aunt Peg and Ann Landers sipping tea and chatting now.
Ann Landers will be sadly missed.
