Richard E. Adducci, age 59, of Crown Point, formerly of Riverdale, passed away on Wednesday, June 19, 2002, at his home. Survived by his wife, Janice; children, John Adducci, Kim (Kyle) Lewis of Industry, IL and Patti Adducci; grandson, Tanner; mother, Clementine Adducci of Steger, IL; brother, Joseph (JoAnne) Adducci of South Holland, IL; mother and father-in-law, Josephine and Leo DeMarche of Crown Point; preceded in death by his grandson, Brendan and sister, Marie Therese. Funeral services were held on Saturday, June 22, 2002, at 9:45 a.m. at the Chapel Lawn Funeral Home and at 10:30 a.m. at St. Michael Catholic Church in Schererville, with Fr. Keith McClellan, Fr. Joseph Burns and Fr. Alan DaCorte celebrating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens, Schererville. Richard was retired from the Riverdale Fire Dept. after 31 years.
