IHC Construction Cos. LLC has been selected by Kensington Development Partners Ltd. as the design-builder for an industrial condo development in Elgin. The 15-unit, 43,640-square-foot building is being constructed on just over 3 acres at the corner of Gateway and Millennium Drives in the Elgin Corporate Center. The multitenant office and warehouse building of precast concrete will accommodate offices, warehousing or light manufacturing. Each space will have 16-foot clear-height ceilings and a drive-in door. Kensington Development Partners, based in Bensenville, is the developer of the Elgin Corporate Center project. Completion is scheduled for September.
