William J. Grady, age 81, WWII Vet., of Tinley Park, died June 24, 2002, beloved husband of Betty for 53 years; loving father of Maryellen, Patricia McBride, Kathy (Larry) Carlson, Maureen (Richard) Stamper, William and Michael (Sandy); proud grandpa of Louise (Kris), Josiah (Brooke), Clayton (Becky), Katie, Kevin, Justin, Sonja, Zachary, Ryan, Eric and Michaela; proud great-grandpa of Joel and Shiloh; fond brother of the late Eileen (Wally) Jacus, Joan (Earl) Mansbridge, Jim and Jack; will be missed by in-laws, June (Rudy) Moffler, Dorothy Stanek and many nieces, nephews and friends. A loyal UPS retiree. He enjoyed golf, travel and “Jeopardy”. Will be remembered for his funny, thoughtful and loving manner, demonstrated throughout his life, including his courageous battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
