Rose Mary Schultz, 76, of Crystal Lake, a homemaker, died of heart failure Sunday, June 23, in Northern Illinois Medical Center, McHenry. Mrs. Schultz, who was born and raised in Chicago, married her husband, Richard, after graduating from Marshall High School. The couple moved to Mt. Prospect in 1954, where Mrs. Schultz raised five children. Mrs. Schultz always was supportive of her children’s activities, said her son Richard. During the 1960s and ’70s, she was a volunteer with Camp Fire and worked as an election judge. Other survivors include her husband; a son, Philip; three daughters, Diane Wellhausen, Karen Kick and Gayle; and nine grandchildren. Visitation will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. Wednesday in Querhammer & Flagg Funeral Home, 500 W. Terra Cotta Ave., Crystal Lake, with a rosary service at 7 p.m. Another visitation will be held at 2 p.m. until a service at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home. Mass will be said at 2 p.m. Friday in Church of Holy Apostles, 5211 West Bull Valley Rd., McHenry.
