Beverly D. Adkins, 72, Green Bay, formerly of Rolling Meadows, IL, passed away Tuesday, June 25, 2002 at her home. She was born April 30, 1930 in Chicago, to the late Harold and Astrid, nee Lassesson, Faunce. On May 13, 1950, Beverly married Russell S. Adkins. They lived in Chicago for over 30 years before moving to Rolling Meadows and she moved to Green Bay, WI in 1999. She had her own dance studio in Chicago for many years, was a talented artist, seamstress and was creative with crafts, all of which she shared with family and friends. Beverly was a member of Union Congregational Church, Green Bay. Survivors include her children and their spouses, Randy (Linda) Adkins of Burlingame, CA and Robin (Dr. Joseph) Lasnoski of Oneida/Green Bay, WI; three grandchildren, Nathan Lasnoski, Kent Lasnoski and Brittney Adkins; a brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Ronald (Barbara) Adkins of Wadsworth, IL; and a nephew, Reid Adkins of Omaha, NE. Beverly was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Adkins, on Aug. 10, 1992. A Memorial Service will be held at a later date. A memorial fund has been established for Union Congregational Church, Green Bay, in her name. Blaney Funeral Home, Green Bay, is assisting the Adkins family.
