Airport security recently picked former Vice President Al Gore for a security check. Here is a man who came within less than 1,000 votes of being elected the president of the United States. This is the ultimate in total stupidity. How many suspects passed through security while a couple of security people were tied up with the former vice president, going through his luggage?
The purpose of this idiotic security check is to show that the U.S. government is not profiling Middle Eastern-looking people. I fear that if we do not learn to fight our enemies at the level they fight us, we will all die knowing that we are gentle people, people of the law, but people who no longer exist.
