Margaret M. Wolf, nee Wertzler, at rest June 26, 2002, age 66, after a long battle with ovarian cancer. Born April 21, 1936 in Chicago, IL to Agnes (Kern) and William Wertzler; mother of Linda (William) Baxa of Independence, WI and Robert (Marilou) Wolf of Camarillo, CA; sister of Shirley Wertzler Greco Oddo of Addison, IL and William (Mary Ellen) Wertzler of St. Louis Park, MN; grandmother of Lauren Marie, Daryl William and Taylor Vincent Baxa and Amanda Margaret and Eric Arthur Wolf; she was preceded in death by her parents. She attended Blessed Sacrament Grade School and St. Mary’s High School in Chicago. At the time of her death, she was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Independence, WI and a member of the prayer chain. She was devoted to the Rosary. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. Saturday, June 29, at Edison Funeral Home, Independence, 715-985-3615. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, with final rest in the church cemetery. Memorials are requested to the Regional Cancer Center of Sacred Heart Hospital in Eau Claire, WI, or to Northwest Homecare Hospice of Mondovi, WI.
